GENERAL COURSE IN URBAN PEST MANAGEMENT

Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 3

THE GENERAL COURSE IN URBAN PEST MANAGEMENT FORMS PART OF
CPP30119 CERTIFICATE III IN URBAN PEST MANAGEMENT

We offer the selection of units below that can be used to support an application for a provisional pest managers licence in Western Australia and for licenced technicians in South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Northern Territory and Tasmania.

A number of study options, both in class and remote, have been provided for this Nationally Recognised Qualification so that learners and their employers can choose a study option that best suits their needs and location. Please contact us if you would like us to tailor a training solution for your workplace.*

This qualification reflects the role of pest management technicians who are required to identify common urban pests, assess pest problems, consider pest management options, develop pest management plans, liaise with customers and implement pest management strategies. In most cases, technicians work alone with responsibility for managing chemicals and equipment used for pest management and stored in pest management vehicles. Licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to pest management in some states and territories. For further information, check with the relevant regulatory authority.
